Empowering Healthcare Professionals: Conversations and Coaching for Success

The tips in this article care of Entrepreneur.com are exactly the conversations I am having with clients who are Healthcare Professionals.

Sales

In private health care, people feel especially uncomfortable with "selling." They benefit from working through exactly what they are offering, and how to communicate that in a way that is authentic and honest. Creating a sales strategy, and layering this with a sales plan is exactly what we are doing together.

Branding

There are differences between a brand, branding, and a brand promise. All are necessary to get noticed, to get hired, and to keep customers. Consistency is key, and people benefit from the conversations we have around this.

Social Strategy

Many health care professionals find social media daunting. Regulators make them fearful of having a public opinion, and the time and effort to develop content (on brand) is also not where professionals want to spend their time. Social doesn't have to feel this way, and the pros and risks of not engaging are an important conversation to have with your coach.

Press

This is where my opinion differs from this article. For many in health care they just want to do good work. Limelight is not on their agenda. But being known as a thought leader, being seen as an expert in their field, and having opportunities to speak about this publicly can be an important part of your brand and your business.

Action

Action is one of the three "A's" of coaching. Without action there is no movement. This is why people come to me in the first place. Not because they can't "act," but because they want to act optimally, consistently, and with efficiency and intention.

This article really encourages people to find a coach that has done what they are trying to do. Personally, I am health care professional who grew and sold a private rehabilitation company. It took me 7 years to establish my brand and another 7 to build and sell. I had a coach. I got an MBA.

Coaching works.
